His major passion is attending Bruce Springsteen concerts and he has seen shows on three continents, in five countries, and close to forty different cities. He is also a concert photographer and in recent years has taken up guitar.
While he definitely enjoys his play, Hal also loves his work. He is the President of Bull Market Entertainment and has served as lead producer on the company’s three feature films, all directed by Ellie Kanner, which have been distributed in over one hundred territories around the world and licensed to such key TV and streaming outlets as Starz, Showtime, Lifetime, Netflix, and TF1 in France. His most recent feature film, Authors Anonymous, stars Kaley Cuoco (Big Bang Theory), Chris Klein (American Pie), Dennis Farina (Get Shorty), Teri Polo (Meet The Parents), Dylan Walsh (Nip/Tuck), Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), and Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad).
Hal’s earlier films are Wake, starring Bijou Phillips (Almost Famous), Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries), Jane Seymour (Wedding Crashers) and Danny Masterson (That 70's Show) and Crazylove starring Reiko Ayesworth (24), Bruno Campos (Nip/Tuck), Marla Sokoloff (The Practice), Greg Germann (Grey’s Anatomy), and rock star Meat Loaf.
Hal is a member of the Producers Guild of America and has several projects in development including writer Jean Barker’s directorial debut, which is scheduled to shoot in early 2020. He also recently produced writer Joanna Leeds’ directorial debut, a short film entitled Tell Her It’s Over.
He has previously appeared on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio, where he did a Guest DJ show and appeared on two Springsteen Community Conferences, and is really excited to be working with his good friend, Flynn McLean, on this show.

Flynn McLean fell in love with the music of Bruce Springsteen as a teenager and it has had an immeasurable impact on his life. Most significantly, without Bruce, he would have never met the great love of his life. He met his wife, Claudine, through the Springsteen fan community and there’s nothing they enjoy doing more together than going to Bruce’s concerts. They have seen over 100 shows together.
He has been a contributor to Springsteen fanzine, Backstreets Magazine, since 2002. In addition to moderating their message board BTX, he writes the bootleg review column and reviews of the Springsteen official Archives Series releases for both the magazine and web site. Flynn has also appeared on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio where he had two Guest DJ shows as well as appearing on several Springsteen Community Conferences. From 1998-2005, he ran his own widely followed Springsteen site on the Internet, theboots.net.
By day, Flynn works as a web developer on multiple government contracts. He grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, and did his undergraduate work at Ithaca College, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. When not following Bruce around or recording the podcast, Flynn enjoys running, swimming, and walking his dog, Callie.
