Hal Schwartz loves the moment when the lights go down and the show is about to begin. He can often be found in concert venues of all sizes, watching a diverse array of acts. His major passion is attending Bruce Springsteen concerts and he has seen shows on three continents, in five countries, and close to forty different cities. He is also a concert photographer and plays guitar.
While he definitely enjoys his play, Hal also loves his work. He is the President of Bull Market Entertainment and has served as lead producer on the company’s three feature films, which have been been distributed in over one hundred territories around the world. His films have been licensed by a list of the biggest TV and streaming outlets including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Showtime, Starz, and Lifetime. His most recent feature film, Authors Anonymous, stars Kaley Cuoco (Big Bang Theory), Chris Klein (American Pie), Dennis Farina (Get Shorty), Teri Polo (Meet The Parents), Dylan Walsh (Nip/Tuck), Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), and Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad).
Hal’s earlier films are Wake, starring Bijou Phillips (Almost Famous), Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries), and Jane Seymour (Wedding Crashers) and Crazylove starring Reiko Ayesworth (24), Bruno Campos (Nip/Tuck), Marla Sokoloff (The Practice), Greg Germann (Grey’s Anatomy), and rock star Meat Loaf.
In 2019, Hal came up with the idea for a podcast that would examine the work of Bruce Springsteen. Joined by co-host and good friend Flynn McLean, None But The Brave is Bull Market’s first podcast. The show proved to be a success, hitting #1 in the US and 9 other territories worldwide on the Apple Podcasts Music Commentary chart. In 2021, the show was picked up by Evergreen Podcasts.
In 2020, he also produced writer Joanna Leeds’ directorial debut, a short film entitled Tell Her It’s Over, which screened at three Academy Award qualifying festivals, including LA Shorts International Film Festival and Cinequest, where it won the Audience Award for Best Short Film.

Flynn McLean fell in love with the music of Bruce Springsteen as a teenager and it has had an immeasurable impact on his life. Most significantly, without Bruce, he would have never met the great love of his life. He met his wife, Claudine, through the Springsteen fan community and there’s nothing they enjoy doing more together than going to Bruce’s concerts. They have seen over 150 shows together.
He has been a contributor to Springsteen fanzine, Backstreets Magazine, since 2002. In addition to moderating their message board BTX, he writes the bootleg review column and reviews of the Springsteen official Archives Series releases for the web site. From 1998-2005, he ran his own widely followed Springsteen site on the Internet, theboots.net.
By day, Flynn works as a web developer on multiple government contracts. He grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, and did his undergraduate work at Ithaca College, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. When not following Bruce around or recording the podcast, Flynn enjoys running, swimming, and walking his dog, Callie.
